California Traffic Laws

In California, there are plenty of traffic laws that one has to follow in order to abide by the rules of the state. The vast majority of the regulations that you are told to obey when out on the road are a product of the greater United States. Essentially, many of the laws are carried over from state to state. However, there are some that laws that the state of California has that others may not. For example, in this particular part of the country, children under the age of eight or less than 4-feet-9-inches must be secured in a car seat. In terms of cellphone usage while driving, texting is not allowed, but hands-free phone usage is.
